Royale by michael björklund

In Royale by Michael Björklund, we use seasonal products as far as possible. We cook our food with much love and care. Here, there is always something for everyone.

BBQ Royale

At BBQ Royale, we serve grilled premium hamburgers and kebab with tasty side dishes and products of the highest quality. We focus on small-scale preparation and cooking, newly baked bread, and our own house dressings. Naturally, there are also other BBQ-inspired dishes, salads, and some vegetarian dishes on the menu.

Café Royale

Café Royale is a traditional café inspired by Paris in the 1930’s. Here, we serve lighter meals and a wide selection of pastries. The café is the perfect meeting spot for a business lunch or a moment with a dear friend. Besides freshly brewed coffee and delicious newly baked pastries, there are also sandwiches, salads, soups, and “Superfood” on the menu. Naturally, you can also enjoy champagne, wine, beer or an avec in our beautiful surroundings!

SUSTAINABILITY AND CONCEPT

The whole Royale by Michael Björklund concept is saturated with a sustainability philosophy. The starting point of the interior decoration is its authentic building materials: wood, tiles, glass, and iron – materials that age beautifully and represent authenticity and sustainability. The room should reflect the food! Our food philosophy follows the same line of thinking. We work with products that are as local as possible and choose ingredients that are in season. All to have the smallest ecological footprint possible.

”We have nodded towards times gone by in Helsinki, especially when the department store was new and already a window to the world. In the midst of the chandeliers in the café, we have made a Wall of Femmes, with some of the heroines from Helsinki’s history worth remembering.”
